Karnataka Information minister Roshan Baig was present for a brief time at the Hyderabadi Hindi film ‘Stepney’ show at Chamundeswari studio in Bangalore on Wednesday evening.

‘Stepney’ a hit combination of Gullu Daada and Aziz Nasir is presented by Farah Khan and directed by Azis Naser. The film is produced by Adnan Sajid Khan and co produced by Zia Ul Haq. It is ASK cinema banner the film is made.

‘Stepney’ starring Adnan Sajid Khan, Aziz Naser, Sana, Farha Kkhan, Preeti Nigam and Shiva in lead roles is int he direction of Aziz Naser.

‘Stepney’ is a film in Hyderabadi Hindi on extra marital relationship. When Priti Nigam wife gets doubt on her husband the secret agent to know on the affairs is brother of Priti Nigam. The protagonist running a travel agency is hen pecked. He explains his ordeals to his PA in travel agency office. The PA takes the protagonist to Farha Khan for entertainment in life. Rest is how protagonist is tamed in life.

It is a comedy flick throughout the narration

Deccani Cinema came into existence with the all time critically acclaimed movie ‘The Angrez’(2006) The movie was released initially in four theaters in Hyderabad ,but later on for its overwhelming response it was released in many theaters of Hyderabad and CDs/DVDs were released only after it completed 25 weeks. Released with just two prints,the film gradually headed for the fifth week and  then was all set for a country wide opening . The film created a record record  by running to packed house in a single theatre for over 25 weeks .

The USP of the film is the humorous hyderabadi dialect.The movies are presented in a very natural way . The film has a wide range of audience from Telangana , Andra Predesh ,Maharashtra, Karnataka and also among the large diaspora in the Middle-East and the US.

Synopsis of Stepney :

A marred man tortured by wife decide to enter an extra marital affair. “Stepney” tells the hilarious tale of one man who after marriage , realizes that his wife is out to destroy his life. Frustrated,he finds love with a divorcee and things start getting out of control.

Preeti Niagam (Actress)

Preeti,who first grabbed the attention of television viewers with her roles in serials such as Ruthu Ragalu and Kasturi, had over the years built a reputation  for herself with a range of characters. However .in recent times ,her negative roles –particularly in serials like Chandramukhi on ETV –have been a major hit, with viewers .She is not new to the big screen, having done both Hindi film including well Done Abba and Welcome to Sajjanpur. But Chakali Ailamma is her maiden effort at playing the lead role, where she  has tried carrying the entire movie on her emoting prowess.
